Literature Text

I can still hear your voice
  Clearly in the black nite
Speaking to me on the most
  Mediocre topics.
I can still smell your aroma
  On my own clothing
  Gracefully drifting to my face
  Reminding me you were here.
I can still feel your arms
  As they tightly encircled me
  Holding me to you
As though you would never let go.
I can still see your smile
and bright eyes as they looked at me
  and as I looked back
  I was entranced.

It took me so long to tell you
  how I felt.
It took you only a few moments
  to captivate me.
But you are gone
  miles away.
Back to your old life
  and old friends.
I wonder now if you think of me
as often as I do you.
And whether our time together
Means as much to you
As it does to me.
A poem I wrote to the same guy as Secret Love. This is, of course, now that he is gone.
